Carmen Buss is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in English. She worked in both a college library and public libraries before taking several years to stay home with her family.  Carmen started work at the Cresco Public Library part-time in 2003 and has become certified as a public librarian through the State of Iowa.

Her husband, Gordon, and two boys, Noah and Jake, keep her on her toes at all times.  Gardening, baking, and, of course, reading, help keep her busy.

Carmen welcomes suggestions and comments regarding our library.  If a patron would like to make a purchase suggestion, a program suggestion, are interested in joining a Friends group, or would just like to chat about the Cresco Public Library, please email Carmen or drop by her office (next to the non-fiction).
