Programs and services especially for adults.

The Cresco Public Library is much more than a place to check out books.  We also have magazines, newspapers, movies, and audio-books.  Other services include eight public computers, fax, copy machine, print magnifier, test proctoring, a program/meeting room, and a genealogy area with a microfilm reader/printer. Tax forms are available during tax season.

A variety of educational and entertaining programs for adults are scheduled each year.  The library hosts special events such as author visits and book signings.

Comfortable seating areas for reading, relaxing, and visiting with others are available.

You may want to check a site entitled, "Digital Librarian:  a librarian's choice of the best of the Web".  This site has a great many good links.  It is maintained by Margaret Vail, a librarian in Cortland, New York.

There are several folders of adult information along the left margin.  Click on those of interest to you.

Be sure to check out the 'Do Research' tab and the 'Subject Headings' for additional information.
