Cresco Public Library presents the Adult Winter Reading Contest February 1-March 31! This year, we are doing something new: 'READO!'. This fun approach to the contest is patterned after the game of BINGO, but it involves reading books! Pick up one of three READO sheets (like the sheet shown in the photo below). The first two sheets feature easier choices; the third sheet shows more challenging options. Fill out your 'READO' card by going through the library to find the sort of book listed on each 'READO' square on your sheet. Once you read the book, 'X' off the square on your sheet. When you have all of the boxes in a row, or diagonally, crossed off, you have a BINGO (or 'READO', in this case!). You may then take an ticket next to the 'READO' Adult Winter Reading display, fill it out with your name and phone number, and place it in the prize drawing box. This contest will continue through the month of March; the final day is Saturday, March 31st. Tell your friends about 'READO', and enjoy reading a wide variety of books from the Cresco Public Library's collection (eBooks, audio books and Interlibrary Loan books count, too!). Good luck, and have fun!
