Bill Sherman Shares History/Recollections About Country Schools in Iowa

Bill Sherman, Humanities Iowa, was invited by the Cresco Public Library to share his knowledge of the country school movement of education  in Iowa to those interested.    He spoke at the United Methodist Church to a group of over forty interested audience members.  Many of those attending had either taught or gone to a rural country school.  Bill shared information about the history of country schools in Iowa.
