Interlibrary Loan

Cresco Public Library takes part in an interlibrary loan program. We are able to borrow materials from a variety of libraries. If you can't find an item in our library, ask a librarian or fill out the form below.

  • Currently, we use three main ways to transport books, two of which are free. If your material is coming from a non-public library, there may be a $2 fee for postage.

  • Check out is the same three weeks as regular materials and it is sometimes possible to renew items, but we recommend you try to use the materials in the time given.

  • If materials are not picked up promptly, they will be returned to the lending library.

  • New materials are rarely available for interlibrary loan as libraries like to let their own patrons use these materials first. It may be several months after the initial release of the item/s before we are able to make a request to borrow.

  • If we cannot find an item or items for you, we will let you know as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our librarians. Our contact details are at the bottom of the page.
